ASOIU holds final Academic Board meeting for 2024
The next meeting of the Academic Board was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) on December 24. Initially, ASOIU's Acting Rector, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov announced the agenda items to board members, and the agenda was approved.
According to the agenda, ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov provided information about the preparation status for the fall semester examination session of the 2024/2025 academic year, followed by an annual report on faculty activities by the Dean of the Petroleum Mechanics Faculty, Associate Professor Alihikmat Ahmadov.
During discussions centered on educational quality and examination readiness, Acting Rector Vazeh Askarov expressed satisfaction with the university's scientific achievements. He emphasized that ASOIU's mission extends beyond technical education to cultivating patriotic and responsible citizens. The Acting Rector particularly stressed the critical importance of maintaining strict academic discipline throughout the educational process.
