Rector of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University visits ASOIU

On December 20, as part of their visit to Azerbaijan, a delegation led by the Rector of Turkey’s Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Professor Hasan Uslu, visited Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

During a meeting with ASOIU's Acting Rector, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov, Professor Hasan Uslu expressed his satisfaction with visiting ASOIU. Referring to the cooperation memorandum signed between the two institutions a few days earlier in Turkey at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Professor Uslu expressed confidence in achieving significant successes together in the coming years.

While at ASOIU, the guests toured the university’s history museum, library, laboratories, and classrooms, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the academic and educational environment. The delegation from the brotherly nation admired the memorial plaque dedicated to the victims of the April 30 terrorist attack and learned about ASOIU's rich history. They noted that the university is not only an institution for training engineering professionals but also a repository of historical and scientific heritage.

At the conclusion of the visit, Professor Hasan Uslu and his delegation expressed their gratitude to Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov for the warm hospitality and detailed information.
