ASOIU representatives held a meeting at the Institute of Information Technology

On December 10, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) delegation collaborated with the Ministry of Science and Education's Institute of Information Technology to deliver a detailed presentation on the strategic importance of international university rankings. The event thoroughly discussed the significance of participating in global rankings, the opportunities this process creates for ASOIU, and ways to support this endeavour.
Attendees included the Institute’s young researchers and staff alongside ASOIU representatives: Project Manager Elmar Guliyev, International Project Manager Orkhan Nabiyev, Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Sector of the Science and Education Analytical Center Rashad Shikhiyev, and specialist of the Strategy and Promotion Sector Shamil Ahmadov.
The session examined how global ranking participation amplifies academic visibility, fosters scientific exchange, and paves the way for inter-university collaboration. Additionally, it was underscored that such collaborative initiatives significantly expand cooperation horizons while boosting recognition of scientific progress.
