Next Academic Board meeting held at ASOIU

On December 2, the next meeting of the Academic Board was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). Acting Rector of ASOIU, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov, announced the agenda to the board members, and the agenda was approved.
In his speech on the current state of teaching and education at the university, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov discussed the work carried out, existing shortcomings, and key objectives. He emphasized that ensuring high-quality education for students, aligning education with modern standards, and advancing scientific achievements remain top priorities. He also noted that as a team, these tasks must be accomplished at the highest level.
In accordance with the agenda, Dean of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Production, Professor Elman Isgandarov, presented the faculty’s annual report.
At the end of the meeting, Associate Professor Vazeh Askarov shared his observations and suggestions regarding the discussed issues, provided instructions for addressing deficiencies, and outlined tasks for future work.
