On May 4-5, 2023, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University will host a Republican Scientific Conference of doctoral students and young researchers dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The conference will cover the following sections: 

  • Geology and Geophysics;
  • Development of oil and gas fields;
  • Chemistry, Chemical-Technology;
  • Mechanics and mechanical engineering;
  • Energy and energy resources;
  • Ecology and safety;
  • Automation and informatics;
  • Economics and management.

THE PROCEDURE FOR COMPILING THESES

Requirements for theses of reports to be submitted to the Organising Committee of the Republican Scientific Conference of doctoral students and young researchers dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University on May 4-5, 2023.

1. Those interested in participating in the conference should submit theses of scientific papers by April 2023 27 at 17:00.

2. Theses can be presented in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.

3. Theses submitted in Azerbaijani must be written with the AZ button activated in the lower right corner of the screen (Azerbaijani Latin), in Russian - Ru, in English - EN. Font-Times New Roman 12.

4. Theses should be written 1,5-spaced on A4 sheets with the fields on each side (right, left, top, bottom) 20 mm.

5. The volume of the submitted theses should be at least 3 pages and, at most, 5 pages.

6. The submitted theses must comply with the stated requirements and be submitted electronically.

7. Theses of reports that do not comply with the requirements and are found to be plagiarized will not be accepted for publication.

8. Speeches should be prepared for presentation with modern technical means.

It can be some problems on  the scientific directions, the proposing new approach(method) and using  the theories on the solution of a problem, etc.

Abstract (annotation)

The proposed and reasoned idea and solution method. should be described using   laconic and concise form, fluent scientific language.

Introduction

A comparative analysis in the literature review covering the topic should be presented, the

necessity of the proposed method, idea, the essence, and importance of the topic should be given. At least 5-10 papers should be used. It should be shown that researchers do not address this issue, its’ distinguishing features, some shortages by analyzing scientific-practical literature, and a request for scientific analysis by using factual/ authentic information about an issue. At the end of the introduction, the goal or the proposed approach, etc. should be given. The goal may be the targets that are planned to be achieved as a result of the research. The structure of the paper at the end: (For example, The paper consists of 6 sections. The first section analyzes the problem, the main concepts in the 2nd section, the statement of the problem in the 3rd section, the proposed solution method in the 4th section, the computer simulation in the 5th section, and the analysis of the results are given in the 6th section.)

Preliminaries.

The main concepts used in the paper should be given. (If the concepts used are new to the field under consideration and  rare in the scientific literature, there is no need to give)

Statement of the problem

To conduct research, the formal statement of the problem must clearly explain the purpose of the work, the data required or referenced for the solution, and the indicators that need to be explained.

Solution method.

The method proposed or used should be explained. The proposed or used method must be proven by the results (graphs, tables, calculated error, etc.) that it is a proven or new tool.

Conclusion

As the result of the research work, a new methodology, an existing theory, or a new variant,

method, algorithm, etc. of technology can be proposed. Comparative analysis should be

provided.
